Michigan reports an additional 489 cases of coronavirus; 7 new deaths

The State of Michigan reported an additional 489 positive cases of COVID-19 and 7 deaths as daily numbers continue to climb.
The state total is 74,152 confirmed cases with 6,126 deaths, according to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

The state reported 21,799 diagnostic tests for Sunday, with 798 positive (3.53% positivity rate).
As of Friday, the state reported 55,162 recovered patients. The state defines recovered patients as those with a confirmed case and still alive 30 days after the onset of illness.

The health department also reported there are 8,243 probable cases and 247 probable deaths.
